10 Gift Ideas For Someone With Anxiety

I don’t know about you but, as I’ve got older, I very much enjoy finding the perfect gifts for my friends and family more than receiving them. I can spend hours searching shops and the internet to find the best. Websites make it easier with interest categories; for the beauty lover, the animal lover, the golf lover, the tech lover etc. So, with the help of Amazon.co.uk, I’ve decided to compile a list of gift ideas that’s a little different.

Here’s my thoughtful present ideas for people with anxiety!

The Wellbeing Journal

This amazing little journal was developed in partnership with mental health charity, MIND. By purchasing it, not only will you put a smile on the face of the recipient, but you’ll be supporting the charity, as all royalties from book sales will be donated.

It’s packed full of helpful, creative activities, including colouring pages, drawing prompts, inspiring quotes and tips and a lot of writing space to reflect on personal thoughts, feelings and experiences.

LED Cinematic Light Box

Want to remind someone how amazing and strong they are? What better way to share your message in lights with a LED Cinematic Light Box? It comes with 85 letters, numbers and symbols for it to be personalised for any occasion. What’s not to love?!

Tisserand De-Stress Aromatherapy Roller Ball

Give the gift of relaxation and calm with this De-Stress Aromatherapy roller ball. It contains 100% pure essential oils, including soothing exotic Patchouli, revitalising zesty orange and nurturing rose. It’s said to roll away tension, bring calmness and easy anxiety during life’s hectic moments and when the mind is overcrowded. Still sceptical? Check out the reviews if you don’t believe me!

Scentered Aromatherapy ‘Be Happy’ Candle

This isn’t just any old candle. This is a therapy candle, to use during feelings of negativity and when you need a boost. Not only that, it smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, with an aromatic blend of grapefruit, lemon and spearmint.

Fidget Cube

Fidget cube’s have become HUGE this year, with so many people sharing their success stories and praise about them. The cube’s 6 faces are designed to satisfy the most extreme fidgeters and it’s great at easing anxiety, helping with disorders like ADHD, quitting bad habits, maintaining focus and relieving stress.

There are a lot of cheap knock offs out there that break easily. However, this sturdy pocket-sized cube is made with extra durable non-plastic silicon, so it’s safe and strong for both children and adults.

Salt Lamp

I ADORE my Himalayan pink crystal salt lamp! It’s beautiful on my bed side table and its super therapeutic. Not only does it sit there looking pretty, but it’s also hard at work. Salt lamps release negative salt ions and cleanses the air of pollutant molecules. It’s believed too calm allergy and asthma symptoms, improve sleep, aid relaxation and reduce stress and increase serotonin levels in the brain. Also, it’s a natural product, so no two lamps are the same!

The Can’t Sleep Colouring Journal

There’s nothing more frustrating to me than when I’m trying to sleep but my mind is racing. This little journal has been a god send on many restless nights! It’s full of simple, creative exercises that are designed to get you ready for sleep by calming the mind and helping you relax. Not only does it have a load of beautifully illustrated colouring pages; it’s also full of inspirational quotes and handy tips at developing a good bedtime routine.

Tiger’s Eye Chakra Bead Bracelet

If you know someone who suffers with anxiety and loves all things chakra and healing stones, then this unisex bracelet is a perfect stocking filler. It’s made with natural Tiger’s Eye stone beads and 7 stones that represent each chakra for a balanced wellbeing. Tiger’s Eye is believed to be a very protective stone, and have healing properties that enhances courage and self-confidence and shields off negative thoughts and emotions. Even if you don’t believe the mumbo-jumbo, it’s still an incredibly thoughtful sentiment.

A Dream Catcher

Who doesn’t love a dream catcher? My bedroom is full of them and this one in particular is beautifully made. According to its native American origin, it’s believed that when a dream catcher is hung above the bed, it passes the good dreams through the feathers to the sleeper, and catches the bad dreams in its web for them to be destroyed in the morning light. It’s a great gift for all ages!

Worry Monster

Meet the Worry Monster, who promises to eat your worries! This super soft plush toy is obviously aimed at children, but I don’t see why they can’t provide comfort to adults too. I’d love one! If metaphorically eating your worries isn’t enough, you can write them down and dispose of them inside the Worry Monster’s zip up mouth. They come in 3 vibrant colours and have been recommended by psychologists as an aid to reduce anxiety and fears.
